We are applying for government grants to grow corn for alternative heat sources,we live in Michigan. Which mid western state would be the best choice to purchase land and grow crops for this purpose?

If you live near Addison, there's a farm called Vermont Golden Harvest BioFuels that sells 12% moisture corn in bulk or 40 lb bags.

Great article! My stove is a multi-fuel stove. I have mostly used wood pellets, because that is all that is available here in Vermont. But I would like to try corn. Is it possible to store the corn and let it dry, like you would wood?
