Country Flame stoves began back in 1976 in Mt. Vernon, Missouri in an old warehouse with a few employees and created their best seller the Smart Fireplace, which is still seling today.
They continued their reasearch and Country Flame created the of the best catalytic stoves in the market and soon after that they were selling their stoves thoughout the USA. By the early 90's the company had become one of the top stove manufacturers in the USA.
In 2003 they were so successful they were brought by American Energy Systems and Country Flame Corn Stoves were moved to ther new location in Missouri in a place called Marshfield. With their new state of the art facilities they have continued to grow and research.
